Privacy notice
Effective October 23, 2026.
Scope
This notice explains how FutureNOW Ventures, LLC and the vehicles it manages ("FutureNOW", "we") collect, use, share and protect personal information through futurenowventures.com, app.futurenowventures.com and our data rooms. Investors may also receive a separate privacy notice with offering documents where the law requires one.
What we collect
From website visitors: what you send through the contact or founders forms (name, email, topic, message, company details and any deck link you send), and technical data such as IP address, browser and time of visit, which we use for security. If you book a call through the link on our Contact page, Google Calendar collects your name, email and any note you add, under Google's privacy policy, and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.
From investors and prospective investors: name, email, phone number, how and since when we have known you, investing entity and signer details, accredited investor and qualified purchaser attestations signed by your CPA or attorney, and that advisor's name, firm, contact details and license information, identity verification and sanctions screening results, subscription details, amounts committed and funded, distributions, tax document delivery status, and messages you send us.
From venture partners: name, firm, email, phone number and the deals you are assigned to.
From investors' CPAs and attorneys: name, firm, email, phone, license state and number, the investor categories they confirm, and their signed attestation. We never ask them for your tax returns or statements.
From every signed-in user: passkey public keys (your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device), sign-in and security records, and data room activity described in our Data use and cookies notice.
We do not store bank account numbers or tax identification numbers in the portal. Those are handled by our fund administrator, bank and tax preparer.
How we use it
To respond to you; evaluate companies; operate accounts, data rooms and offerings; confirm eligibility under Rule 506(b) and run anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks; administer investments, distributions and tax reporting; send quarterly investor updates to investors; protect the Services and prevent fraud; and keep records required by law.
How we share it
With service providers that run the Services for us, under confidentiality obligations: Cloudflare (hosting, security and email delivery), Google Workspace (email, document storage and call scheduling), Docusign (electronic signatures), Carta (fund administration and investor reporting), an accounting provider, Twilio (verification codes and security texts) and an identity and sanctions screening provider.
With our legal, tax and accounting advisers, auditors and the managers of the vehicles you invest in; with regulators, courts or law enforcement when the law requires it; and with a successor in a merger or sale of FutureNOW's business.
With the CPA or attorney you name, to request their attestation.
With venture partners, in a limited way: if a venture partner introduced you to FutureNOW, that venture partner can see your name, the stage of your review, and the amounts you committed and funded for the offerings they introduced you to. They cannot see your contact details, identity checks, advisor attestations or advisor details, or diligence information.
With portfolio companies, in a limited way: when we report financing progress to a company we invest in, we share only FutureNOW's own totals, never who invested.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We don't share mobile numbers, or your consent to receive our texts, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. None of the sharing described above includes text-message opt-in data or consent; Twilio uses that information only to deliver our texts.
Where it is stored and how we protect it
Portal data is stored in the United States. We use passkeys instead of passwords, a security key for staff actions, encryption in transit and at rest, step-up confirmation for sensitive actions, and tamper-evident audit logs.
How long we keep it
We keep investor records and audit logs for seven years after our relationship ends, or longer when the law requires. We keep contact and founder submissions for three years after we receive them. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number, FutureNOW Ventures texts you a verification code each time you ask for one and, if you opt in, security notices about your account, such as a new sign-in or a change to your contact details. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop texts from us. For help, you can also email contact@futurenowventures.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for marketing. If you stop security texts, you'll confirm sign-ins and changes with your passkey or authenticator app instead.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law, and you can opt out of non-essential emails. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. Email contact@futurenowventures.com, and we will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
We will post updates here with a new effective date and tell investors about material changes. Questions: contact@futurenowventures.com.
